Service Manuals and Owner's Manuals

Service Manuals are not Owner's Manuals.

Service Manuals  contain schematics, wiring diagrams, parts lists, board layouts, and in many cases, normal operating voltages and adjustment procedures. They are intended for repair people and the technically-adept. Each manual contains every bit of technicial documentation I could find. Most are quite comprehensive. Ones for earlier models are less so.  
 Schematics are not available separately.

Photocopies of Service Manuals for MOST Counterpoint components are available for U.S. $75 + shipping (see below). To save on postage, manuals are also available in electronic format (pdf) with your name and address watermarked on every page to discourage sharing for just $75. Service Manuals are not available for the following products: SA-6, DA-11.

Please note that some of the very early products have rather poor documentation, having been designed before Counterpoint had CAD programs. Here is the service manual for the SA-2, the first product I did for Counterpoint. It is only four pages with scribbles on them. Download it for free, here (pdf). You'll need the free Adobe Acrobat Reader software to view it.

Owner's Manuals are what Counterpoint shipped with all products. They include operating and connecting information, warranty information, and specifications. They were intended for the owner and do not contain schematics or other repair information.

Owner's Manuals are not available for the following products: Solid-1 (all variants), NPS100.

  • U.S. Customers. To obtain a manual, email me with your shipping address and I will email to you an invoice with methods of payment. Payment with personal check, PayPal, or credit card are accepted.

  • Non-U.S. Customers. To obtain a manual, email me with your shipping address and I will email to you an invoice with methods of payment. Payment with personal check or PayPal are accepted. I can not accept credit cards for overseas payments due to the high rate of attempted fraud, and I'm just tired of dealing with creepy people with stolen credit card numbers.
