Repair Warranty
Alta Vista
Audio L.L.C. ("AVA") warrants the materials used and workmanship
provided for repairs to be free of defects for a period of one year from
the date of sale. (NOTE:
The MOSFETs used to repair output stages on SA-12, SA-100, SA-20 and SA-220
power amplifiers are taken from amplifiers sent in for upgrade, and as
such are used and are only warrantied for 90 days. More information about

This warranty is expressly limited to the repair or replacement of defective
parts, and return shipping from AVA to the customer with the carrier and
method of our choice to any address within the continental United States,
and is the sole remedy of the warranty.
If the product fails during the warranty period, contact AVA and obtain
a Repair Authorization number. You will pay shipping cost to AVA.
- This
warranty does not cover any damage caused by accident, misuse, abuse,
shipment, neglect, tampering or other than ordinary household use. AVA
reserves the right to determine if a failure is the result of the repair,
or caused by other problems. This warranty excludes all incidental or
consequential damages whatsoever arising out of the use or inability
to use the product. Under no circumstances shall AVA’s liability,
if any, exceed the purchase price paid for the repair. Except to the
extent prohibited by applicable law, any implied warranty or merchantability
or fitness for a particular purpose on this product is limited in duration
to the duration of this warranty.
Repairing failures that were caused by any excluded conditions will
be charged at a rate of $75 / hour, plus parts.
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental
or consequential damages, or allow limitations on how long an implied
warranty lasts, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply
to you.
